Bio
Dr. Tres Bodet started at Baylor in 2023. Prior to that, he taught at Auburn University while obtaining bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Communication, at Universiteit Hasselt through a Fulbright grant, and at the University of Houston while obtaining his doctorate in Cognitive, Behavioral, and Developmental Neuroscience. He loves travel and languages—he has lived in Canada, France, Belgium, and Hong Kong, as well as driving all over Europe and the States. He is an avid soccer and football player and loves attending sporting events. He enjoys restaurant-hopping with his family, who live in Houston, Atlanta, and the Alabama coast, whenever he can!
Research Interests
Dr. Bodet’s expertise is in the neural substrates of language processing, bilingualism, language learning, and the use of virtual reality in learning. His interests lie in understanding how different teaching approaches and technologies affect learning and the role that the brain plays in predicting learning outcomes.
